One semester away: help Itzel graduate from Bronx University
Itzel has worked and saved for three years to study an agriculture degree; a $2,850 gap now stands between her and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an agriculture degree at Bronx University, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a library assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $2,850.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.9 average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Bronx University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $2,850 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,400
• Textbooks and materials: $210
• Exam and lab fees: $240
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

sending love, Itzel. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Cork.
Good luck. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
wishing you peace, Itzel. Study hard!
Hope things get better soon. I hope things turn around soon. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Cape Town.
Praying for you. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Haarlem
