One semester away: help Grace graduate from the Mwanza Institute of Technology

Grace is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at the Mwanza Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600. The registrar has said Grace can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Grace has a 3.6 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Grace would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Grace isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Mwanza Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $600 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $45 • Outstanding tuition balance: $155 • Final term tuition: $400 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Ruth
