Seville
Carmen is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Seville Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,450. The registrar has said Carmen can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Carmen has a first-class average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Carmen would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Carmen isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Seville Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $2,450 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $920 • Final term tuition: $1,200 • Exam and lab fees: $175 • Textbooks and materials: $155 Thanks for reading all this. - Leonardo
