One semester away: help Carlo graduate from Rome Polytechnic
Carlo has worked and saved for three years to study a degree in social work; a $4,450 gap now stands between him and graduation.
🇮🇹 Rome, Lazio, Italy1,100 views
Carlo is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in social work at Rome Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,450.
The registrar has said Carlo can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Carlo has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Carlo would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Carlo isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $4,450 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,450
• Final term tuition: $1,800
• Exam and lab fees: $75
• Textbooks and materials: $125
