I'm six months into recovery from gambling addiction. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week. I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like. I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • Gave what I could, wish it was more. I hope June is when things finally get easier. Love from San Diego.

    • Get well soon. After 22 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.

      • It takes guts to ask. Well done. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Lagos.

        • Good luck. Wishing Omolara a smooth procedure and a full recovery. My neighbor in Arusha donated after I showed her your page. Take care

          • thinking of you, Omolara. Looking forward to the next update. God bless!
