Nomsa is isolated after a stroke: a call a week would help

No advice needed - just a kind ear and some conversation for 30 minutes a week.

After a stroke, I have been mostly housebound for 10 weeks. My family live far away, and the days can feel very long. I'm not looking for therapy - I've that covered - but for conversation. I'm hoping for someone who can call for about 30 minutes once a week whenever suits us both. I like podcasts, football and cooking, and can listen to anything. This can be from anywhere in the world as long as you speak English. We can arrange the calls through the platform, with email shared only when we're both comfortable. Thanks for even thinking about it. Thank you so much.

Good luck, Nomsa. Wishing Nomsa a smooth procedure and a full recovery. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Mthatha

      • it takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Aurangabad donated after I showed her your page. Blessings

        • Stay strong. Looking forward to the next update. Put this on a community board in Bonny this morning.
