Njoroge needs someone who understands: peer support in recovery
A weekly call with someone who has been through it - that's the whole ask.

I'm six months into recovery from stimulant addiction. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week.
I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like.
I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later.
Thank you so much.

hope it all works out. This could happen to any of us. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Rawalpindi
Thinking of you, Njoroge. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier
Wishing you peace, Njoroge. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. We're a small family in Aurora but we're thinking of you. God bless!

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Love from Leicester.

So sorry you're going through this. I hope things turn around soon. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best.
Praying for you. Shared it with a few friends. I hope October is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Kikuyu.
