Nisha's final semester of a teaching qualification in Thrissur
A first-generation student, Nisha needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a teaching qualification.

Nisha is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a teaching qualification at Thrissur Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $400.
The registrar has said Nisha can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Nisha has a distinction average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Nisha would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Nisha isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

• Exam and lab fees: $25
• Outstanding tuition balance: $360
