Ngozi's valve repair surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a torn ligament that needs reconstruction, Ngozi was cleared for valve repair surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Ngozi was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in January. The surgeon at Lagos Regional Medical Center recommended valve repair surgery, and She is scheduled for April. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,200, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $950 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Lagos Regional Medical Center since January. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without valve repair surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,200 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ngozi struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Ngozi won't be able to walk without help, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $950 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $440
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $320
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $45
• Post-operative medication: $40
• Physiotherapy sessions: $75
• Travel and lodging for the family: $30

Praying for you. Hope the doctors have good news. My husband and I read this together. God bless.
Hang in there, Omolara. Gave what I could, wish it was more
Rooting for you. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. After 6 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Lagos.
