Need strong backs and a van: moving Yu to safer housing

A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Edmonton.

After the rent increase, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Edmonton, and the lease starts on Monday. I have my elderly father, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers. I'm hoping for a few strong people for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel. The old place is on the second floor and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me. I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
