Need strong backs and a van: moving Valentina to safer housing
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Aurora.

After an unsafe stairwell, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Aurora, and the lease starts on Monday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Thank you for reading my story.

Hope it all works out, Valentina. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Thinking of Aurora
