Need strong backs and a van: moving Tadesse to safer housing
Moving day on Thursday: we need 3-4 helpers and ideally a van.
🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia779 views
After mold in the old building became a health issue for my child, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Jimma, and the lease starts on Thursday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

hang in there, Tadesse. Your post was clear and honest. All the best.
Stay strong. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I'll check back for the next update.
You're not alone, Tadesse. This could happen to any of us. Please keep us posted. All the best
Keep going. Hope this works out for you. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Jimma
