After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Bekasi, and the lease starts on Thursday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers. I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel. The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me. I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Good luck, Siti. I hope things turn around soon. God bless.

    • Take care, Siti. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Mumbai so I could bring a meal. All the best.

      • I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Please keep us posted
