Need strong backs and a van: moving Odette to safer housing
Moving day on Tuesday: we need anyone with a van and ideally a van.

After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Montréal, and the lease starts on Tuesday. I have my elderly father, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about three hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
