Need strong backs and a van: moving Michael to safer housing
Michael has found a safe new apartment in Dortmund and needs help moving heavy furniture on Wednesday.

After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Dortmund, and the lease starts on Wednesday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for a few strong people for about three hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
I hope life is good to you.

hang in there, Michael. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care.
hang in there, Michael. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Dortmund!
