Need strong backs and a van: moving Marites to safer housing
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Manila.

After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Manila, and the lease starts on Sunday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hope it all works out, Marites. Shared it with a few friends. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care
