Need strong backs and a van: moving Marilyn to safer housing
Moving day on Sunday: we need 3-4 helpers and ideally a van.

After mold in the old building became a health issue for my child, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Chattanooga, and the lease starts on Sunday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.

You're not alone, Marilyn. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
