Need strong backs and a van: moving Majid to safer housing
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Mohammedia.
🇲🇦 Mohammedia, Casablanca-Settat, Morocco394 views
After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Mohammedia, and the lease starts on Saturday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about three hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Thank you for reading my story.

thinking of you and your family. Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to San Francisco so I could bring a meal
So sorry you're going through this, Majid. Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry!
it takes guts to ask. Well done. After 11 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
So sorry you're going through this, Majid. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Sending good thoughts, Majid. Your post was clear and honest. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
