Need strong backs and a van: moving Kaito to safer housing
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Tokyo.
🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan348 views
After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Tokyo, and the lease starts on Friday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about three hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Thank you so much.

Best of luck. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. We're a small family in Gdynia but we're thinking of you. God bless
Sending good thoughts, Kaito. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Thinking of Tokyo.
