Need strong backs and a van: moving Jun to safer housing
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Newcastle.

After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Newcastle, and the lease starts on Sunday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
