Need strong backs and a van: moving Jose to safer housing
Jose has found a safe new apartment in Sacramento and needs help moving heavy furniture on Sunday.

After mold in the old building became a health issue for my child, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Sacramento, and the lease starts on Sunday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for a few strong people for about six hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hang in there, Jose. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I hope November is when things finally get easier. All the best.
