Need strong backs and a van: moving Harsh to safer housing
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in San Diego.

After an unsafe stairwell, I found a safe, affordable apartment in San Diego, and the lease starts on Wednesday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Sending strength, Harsh. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My husband and I read this together. All the best.
