Need strong backs and a van: moving Fernando to safer housing
Moving day on Monday: we need anyone with a van and ideally a van.

After the rent increase, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Cebu City, and the lease starts on Monday. I have my elderly father, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.

Hang in there, Fernando. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Cebu City!
