Need strong backs and a van: moving Fani to safer housing
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Yogyakarta.

After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Yogyakarta, and the lease starts on Thursday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Thank you for reading my story.

Hang in there. I hope things turn around soon. Greetings from Warren.
Thinking of you, Fani. Shared this with my family. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
