Need strong backs and a van: moving Esteban to safer housing
Esteban has found a safe new apartment in Los Angeles and needs help moving heavy furniture on Saturday.

After the rent increase, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Los Angeles, and the lease starts on Saturday. I have three kids, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Glad we found this place.

Best of luck, Esteban. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. My neighbor in Jakarta donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Los Angeles.
reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Sent it to 6 people at work. All the best
best of luck, Esteban. Shared this with my family.

Thinking of you and your family, Esteban. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Love from Springfield
Wishing you peace, Esteban. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
Rooting for you, Esteban. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
Sending good thoughts, Esteban. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Blessings
