Need strong backs and a van: moving Diego to safer housing

Moving day on Thursday: we need four volunteers and ideally a van.

After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Xalapa, and the lease starts on Thursday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers. I'm hoping for four volunteers for about three hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel. The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me. I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer. Thank you for reading my story.

Thinking of you and your family. Looking forward to the next update. My husband and I read this together. Thinking of Xalapa.

          • Hope it all works out. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings.
