Need strong backs and a van: moving Colton to safer housing
Colton has found a safe new apartment in Geelong and needs help moving heavy furniture on Saturday.

After an unsafe stairwell, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Geelong, and the lease starts on Saturday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

I live about 17 km from Geelong. I can help at the weekend, tell me what you need. Flexible on timing.

Hope it all works out, Colton. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. God bless.
So sorry you're going through this, Colton. Looking forward to the next update. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Grand Rapids.
best of luck. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
