Need strong backs and a van: moving Christian to safer housing
Moving day on Monday: we need a few strong people and ideally a van.

After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Milan, and the lease starts on Monday. I have three kids, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for a few strong people for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hope it all works out, Christian. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless
