Need strong backs and a van: moving Brenda to safer housing
Brenda has found a safe new apartment in San Jose and needs help moving heavy furniture on Thursday.

After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in San Jose, and the lease starts on Thursday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about six hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
