Need strong backs and a van: moving Alexa to safer housing
Moving day on Monday: we need anyone with a van and ideally a van.

After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Los Angeles, and the lease starts on Monday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
