Need strong backs and a van: moving Aiden to safer housing
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in London.
🇨🇦 London, Ontario, Canada68 views
After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in London, and the lease starts on Thursday. I have three kids, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for a few strong people for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Thank you for reading my story.

Thinking of you, Aiden. Looking forward to the next update. Please keep us posted. Love from Madrid.
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. After 17 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
