Need a housing expert's view on a rent increase in Tennessee
Isabel is dealing with a refusal to repair mold and needs someone who knows the law in Tennessee to explain the options.

My landlord in Nashville has given me a refusal to repair mold. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Tennessee could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Tennessee would also be appreciated.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
