Need a housing expert's view on a rent increase in Tatarstan

Looking for housing-law advice in Tatarstan: an order to leave for 'renovations'.

My landlord in Kazan has given me an order to leave for 'renovations'. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other. I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Tatarstan could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect. I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Tatarstan would also be appreciated. Glad we found this place.

  • Wishing you the best. Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
