My landlord in Hobart has given me a withheld security deposit. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other. I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Tasmania could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect. I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Tasmania would also be appreciated. Glad we found this place.

rooting for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Dasmariñas.

        • Hope things get better soon. Hope you get there. After 28 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless
