Need a housing expert's view on a rent increase in Rio de Janeiro
A brief consultation with a housing advisor would help Letícia understand their rights.

My landlord in Petrópolis has given me a refusal to repair mold. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Rio de Janeiro could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Rio de Janeiro would also be appreciated.
Thank you so much.
