My wants to stay at home - help fund six months of care
My, 94, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $700 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 94. After a diagnosis of dementia My can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and My desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
My worked all of her life as a schoolteacher, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $700 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $70
• Part-time carer (six months): $510
• Medication and prescriptions: $120
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
