My tuk-tuk: Namukasa's only way to earn a living
Namukasa drives for a living in Naivasha, and a broken transmission has stopped all income for 4 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 4 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $205. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 1 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $205 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $110
• Labor charges: $55
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $35
• Towing and inspection: $5
If you're reading this, thank you.
