My taxi: Krishna's only way to earn a living
Without my taxi Krishna can't work; a $1,000 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my taxi. 10 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,000. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $580
• Labor charges: $150
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $135
• Towing and inspection: $135
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Greetings from Tokyo.
Hang in there, Krishna. Hope this works out for you. My neighbor in Monterrey donated after I showed her your page. All the best.
Thinking of you and your family, Krishna. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Ciudad de México but we're thinking of you. Greetings from Ciudad de México.
