My pickup: Yetunde's only way to earn a living
Without my pickup Yetunde can't work; a $150 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my pickup. 10 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $150 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $40
• Labor charges: $20
• transmission replacement (parts): $90
Thank you for reading my story.
