My pickup: Rudi's only way to earn a living
Rudi drives for a living in Bandung, and a broken rear axle has stopped all income for 8 weeks.

I make my living with my pickup. 8 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $150 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $25
• rear axle replacement (parts): $80
• Labor charges: $45
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

It's all in the list in the story. towing and inspection is the big one at $25, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Fair thing to want to know.
