My motorbike: Tommaso's only way to earn a living
Without my motorbike Tommaso can't work; a $950 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my motorbike. 6 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $950. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $950 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $530
• Labor charges: $210
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $140
• Towing and inspection: $70
Thank you so much.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 6 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Turin
