My motorbike: Dmytro's only way to earn a living
Without my motorbike Dmytro cannot work; a $550 repair would put him back on the road.
🇷🇺 Novosibirsk, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia2,243 views
I make my living with my motorbike. 6 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $550. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $550 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $85
• transmission replacement (parts): $410
• Towing and inspection: $55
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Thinking of you and your family, Dmytro. Looking forward to the next update.
Thanks for sharing this. Small businesses are the heart of Novosibirsk. Hope you're open again soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.
