I make my living with my delivery van. 6 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $300 goes: • radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $200 • Labor charges: $35 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $20 • Towing and inspection: $45 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Srinivas

  • So sorry you're going through this. Small businesses are the heart of Rohini. Hope you're open again soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Flint

    • Hope things get better soon. Hope this works out for you. Love from Los Angeles.

      • Wishing you the best, Srinivas. Hope this works out for you. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
