My delivery van: Cora's only way to earn a living

Without my delivery van Cora can't work; a $2,050 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my delivery van. 7 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $2,050. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $2,050 goes: • radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $1,350 • Labor charges: $290 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $290 • Towing and inspection: $120 Glad we found this place. - Cora

Updates from Cora

Good news. Because of your gifts ($96 in total) I made the first payment toward radiator and cooling system replacement. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Thank you all. We're at 2% now ($31). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for labor charges is now scheduled.
