Moving for work: Madeline needs transport to a neighboring city
Madeline has a job waiting in a neighboring city but can't afford the move; a lift, shared van or spare seat would solve it.

I have been offered a job in a neighboring city, starting on Sunday in August. I can't afford the bus and the 5 boxes I need to carry with me, and moving costs are beyond my means.
If you or someone you know is driving between London and a neighboring city, I'd love to share the journey, and I can cover fuel. If you have a van and a free day, even better.
I'm a good conversationalist but happy to be quiet. I have a reference from my last employer and from the person I'll be renting from in a neighboring city.
Thank you for reading my story.
- effort
- one-way trip
- format
- In person in London
- skills
- car or van, a free day

Sending good thoughts, Madeline. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
You're not alone. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Quezon City donated after I showed her your page. All the best

Hang in there, Madeline. Your post was clear and honest. After 27 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
