Moving for work: Farhana needs transport to the capital
Farhana has a job waiting in the capital but can't afford the move; a lift, shared van or spare seat would solve it.

I have been offered a job in the capital, starting on Tuesday in February. I can't afford the bus and the 8 boxes I need to carry with me, and moving costs are beyond my means.
If you or someone you know is driving between Mumbai and the capital, I'd love to share the journey, and I can cover fuel. If you have a van and a free day, even better.
I'm a good conversationalist but happy to be quiet. I have a reference from my last employer and from the person I'll be renting from in the capital.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
- effort
- one-way trip
- format
- In person in Mumbai
- skills
- car or van, a free day

Hang in there, Farhana. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Mumbai!
Sending love, Farhana. Hope you make a strong comeback. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
Sending good thoughts, Farhana. This could happen to any of us. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care.
Rooting for you, Farhana. This could happen to any of us. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Sending good thoughts. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Chattogram donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Mumbai.
Hope you make a strong comeback. I hope February is when things finally get easier
