Moving day volunteers: Sônia's family relocating in São Paulo
Moving day on Saturday: we need anyone with a van and ideally a van.
🇧🇷 São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil760 views
After mold in the old building became a health issue for my child, I found a safe, affordable apartment in São Paulo, and the lease starts on Saturday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

take care, Sônia. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
So sorry you're going through this. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Pune.
Thanks for sharing this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Put this on a community board in Berlin this morning. God bless
You're not alone, Sônia. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Take care.
Sending love. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best
