Moving day volunteers: Maverick's family relocating in Syracuse
Maverick has found a safe new apartment in Syracuse and needs help moving heavy furniture on Tuesday.

After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Syracuse, and the lease starts on Tuesday. I have three kids, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Good luck, Maverick. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Blessings.
You're not alone, Maverick. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless
