Moving day volunteers: Lucía's family relocating in Spokane
Lucía has found a safe new apartment in Spokane and needs help moving heavy furniture on Friday.

After mold in the old building became a health issue for my child, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Spokane, and the lease starts on Friday. I have my elderly father, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

sending good thoughts. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care
