After an unsafe stairwell, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Multan, and the lease starts on Thursday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for a few strong people for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.

Sending good thoughts, Khalid. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Wish I lived closer to Santos so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Multan.
